The terms that govern your use of the Tradewright website.

1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of this website, including its free calculators, guides and templates. The website is operated by Tradewright LLC ("Tradewright", "we", "us"). By using the website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

2. The Tradewright software

Use of the Tradewright software (the app on iPhone, iPad and the web) is governed by the subscription agreement your company signs with us, not by these website terms. If the two conflict, the subscription agreement controls for the software.

3. Free tools and estimates

The calculators on this website produce estimates only. They are not a substitute for a room-by-room Manual J load calculation, an equipment selection by a qualified professional, or a site visit. Cost and savings figures are estimates based on the assumptions shown and are not guaranteed. You are responsible for the designs you install and the prices you quote.

4. Guides and templates

Our guides and templates are general information for HVAC professionals. They are not legal, tax, engineering or financial advice. Rebate program rules change; always confirm current requirements with the program administrator. Contract templates should be reviewed by your own counsel before use.

You may use downloaded templates in your own business and adapt them for your customers. You may not resell or republish them as your own product.

5. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to the website or its systems.
Do not scrape the website in a way that disrupts it, or copy its content for a competing service.
Do not submit false information or other people's details through our forms.

6. Intellectual property

The website, including its text, graphics, calculators and the Tradewright name and logo, is owned by us or our licensors. Apart from the template use described above, you may not copy or reuse it without our permission. You may link to any public page.

7. Third-party links and services

The website links to other sites, such as rebate program pages and software vendors. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

8. Disclaimers

The website is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of estimates.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Tradewright is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the website, its tools or its content.

10. Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above when we do. Continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Use of the Tradewright software is governed by the subscription agreement, which controls if it conflicts with these terms.
